Abstract

A review of the literature, needs assessment findings, and collaboration with site stakeholders identified opportunities to strengthen ergonomics education, improve occupational health literacy, and support a more comprehensive approach to workplace ergonomics through the development of evidence-based resources. The purpose of the doctoral capstone project was to develop the Nestlé Ergonomics Program by applying the Person-Environment-Occupation (PEO) Model to create evidence-based ergonomic resources that increase workplace ergonomics education, promote occupational health literacy, and reduce the risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders among employees at the Nestlé USA Production Facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
