Abstract
The doctoral capstone project aims to 1) create a pediatric animal assisted therapy intervention manual and 2) screening tool to promote appropriate and diverse usage of AAT for increased goal achievement. The intervention manual and screening tool serves as an evidence-based educational resource and tool that therapists can use to advocate for occupational therapists' role within animal assisted therapy and fill a gap within the population.
