Imagination Unleashed a play created by A-State Theatre Students Directed by DayDay Robinson Feb. 14-16 & 21-23 Simpson Theatre
Theatre Students will collaborate to create a devised theatre piece inspired by personal experiences and societal themes. With guidance and production support, they’ll explore various elements of theatre, refine their ideas, and craft a cohesive narrative. Through teamwork and creative exploration, they’ll develop valuable skills while preparing a fully realized production for an audience, fostering deeper connections and understanding through the power of theatre.
Cinderella by Rogers and Hammerstein Directed by Dallas Martinez April 4-6 and April 11-13 Drama Theatre
This Broadway version of Cinderella is a beloved musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale. It tells the story of Cinderella, a kind-hearted young woman who dreams of escaping her servitude and attending the royal ball. Cinderella’s wish comes true with the help of her Fairy Godmother, but she must leave the ball before midnight, leaving behind only a glass slipper. Prince Charming is determined to find the mysterious woman who captured his heart, leading to a magical and enchanting tale of love, hope, and the power of believing in oneself.hope, and the power of believing in oneself.
