Description
Emotional regulation is the way in which individuals process and manage their emotional experiences in appropriate and socially acceptable ways. Having stable emotional regulation is vital for social function and overall quality of life. It allows individuals to navigate life while maintaining healthy relationships and reaching their goals, without being overtaken by their emotions.
