Description
Imagine sharing your private thoughts, health concerns, and life moments online, only to have them sold without your consent. Every day, companies collect and sell our personal data—our locations, health details, and online activities—posing risks to our safety, civil rights, and national security. The current state-specific laws are extremely inconsistent, making it difficult for data protection. The United States urgently needs a federal law to create uniform, stronger privacy protections nationwide.
